Magnetic beads for extraction and purification (affinity chromatography beads)
The product has a core-shell structure, resulting in a large specific surface area. The high magnetic content and the large number of functional groups or modified proteins attached to the surface can be used to purify nucleic acids and proteins by affinity chromatography. The high magnetic content and moderate density of the beads ensure a good magnetic response and good resuspension in the presence of a magnetic field, making them suitable for use in different types of manual or automated instrumentation solutions.
In Vitro Diagnostic Magnetic Beads
Streptavidin Magnetic Beads are modified with streptavidin (SA) on the surface of the magnetic beads to provide specific binding to biotin. The user simply couples the biotin to the target antibody (or antigen/hapten) to associate these biomolecules to the surface of the magnetic beads, making them easy to use. Protein A/G/L Magnetic Beads are used for in vitro immunodiagnostic purposes. The beads are surface modified with Protein A/G/L to specifically recognise the immunoglobulins IgG, IgA, IgM.
